Birch Block Vineyard
Birch Block Vineyard is a family-owned, 5-acre vineyard in the South Okanagan. It was named Birch Block for the large strand of white birch trees along the top vineyard block. Taking inspiration from this, we developed a logo mark symbolizing a birch tree and paired it with a sleek, simple typeface to create the Birch Block brand. From here we designed wine labels for their first batch of pinot noir rosé, as well as for their 2018 “Pop-up” Chardonnay partnership with Wildebeest Restaurant in Vancouver. They wanted the labels to have a homegrown and handmade feel so we developed a rubber date stamp that they hand-stamp onto each bottle, giving them a personal touch.
